Taxi’s Charging Fare And A Half

So my Mum was complaining that Taxi’s in Portsmouth & London area are charging almost double the fare due to the ice & snow on the roads and she thinks its absolutely outrageous but I think it’s logical for these reasons…

Due to the weather less people are going out so Taxi drivers are suffering with making money.
They are going to suffer because of the speed they have to drive so they have to buy more petrol.

I mean I’m sure these guys have a family to feed and they have to do something to keep food on the table so I don’t really see any problem with it.

Obviously us as customers suffer a little extra cash but if my Mum could just put herself in their shoes she would see that they have to make money to pay for their car, they have a quote they must give the taxi company aqua each week/month so its absolutely understandable in my opinion.
